Claude Code’s built-in voice today

Claude Code has a built-in /voice mode. It records from your Mac’s default microphone and streams the audio to Anthropic for transcription, and it needs a claude.ai login (not an API key, Bedrock or Vertex). Users report it stops hearing them when the input device changes, for example when AirPods connect or the lid closes, until they restart the terminal. It also doesn’t work over SSH.
